Rochester Mayor Mark Smiley has temporarily removed Wilson’s Tow and Transport from the city towing rotation.

What do you think? Is this a matter of revenge? Thoughtful government? Please check the answer that most closely reflects your views.

Please select one:
Fine with me. The mayor ought to decide which company gets city business.
I think it is probably OK for the mayor to direct city towing business.
No opinion.
It bothers me a little. If fairness was the only concern, the mayor should continue to direct that the city’s two wrecker services receive city towing calls on an alternating basis and if one is available more often, that’s what’s called free enterprise.
This is mean and petty. The mayor should have more important things to worry about.
